Edwards Educational Services

A website redesign project to bring a more youthfull, crisp, and funky vibe to a firm in the educational services industry.

Edwards Educational Services was looking to revamp their existing website to bring a young, hip flavor to the site, while still balancing a professional and serious undertone. The new site features a multi-user blog, integrated videos and downloadable resources, and a search-friendly JavaScript homepage slider box to keep material current and interesting.

Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School

We used a third-party WordPress theme that could be customized to fit the needs of the new Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School. Each teacher has their own unique page that can be used to share class announcements. We embedded a Google calendar on the site in order to keep parents informed of upcoming events.

Neiger LLP

Neiger LLP came to us looking to move their website from static HTML files to the WordPress CMS. We worked with them to port their old design to a WordPress theme, adding some improvements along the way.

Stranger Studios supported this website through

  • Implemented a WordPress Theme Based on Their Existing Site
  • Installed Third Party Plugins and Our Old URLs Plugin for SEO
  • Setup Google Analytics for Traffic Reporting
  • Improved Hosting on Our Shared Servers

The new site is easily editable by the Neiger LLP team. This along with our cheaper (but better) hosting option for them will save them money and time.

We also changed the URL structure of the site to a WordPress default that is better for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We used our “Old URLs” plugin to preserve traffic and “Google Juice” coming in from the old links (e.g. linking about.html to /about/).
